Question What intake should I go with

Hello everyone, I am in the middle of working on my camaro since I have it down puting a t5 in it.. I am looking for a intake set-up. I am thinking about the holly stealth ram or the ram jet.. But a guy that drives a 1994 z28 was telling me I should go with the lt1 intake set-up. Is this true and how hard would it be to do so or what do you guys think.. I have a 1991 rs body with a 1987 iroc-z 350 tpi shorty headers exhaust and a small cam up grade,it has the 4 wheel dick braek with 3:73 gears in it. I just got a new camshaft for it, it has a power rang from 2200 to 6400 and has a lift of 504 to 525. THANKS JAY

The main problem you would have with the LT1 intake swap is finding a way to connect your TPI fuel lines to the LT1 fuel rails. Not sure if anyone has come up with a custom made fitting for this yet. It can be done...just have to find the proper parts. Can't remember exactly but I think you would need to swap on raised port cylinder heads also. HSR is a pretty reasonable price since you already have the TPI setup. You would just need the intake/plenum/fuel rails/ and fuel injectors maybe. If you do need fuel injectors then www.fuelinjectorconnection.com is a good place to get Bosch Design III's for cheap. Around $150/exchange I believe. I've heard people rave about the www.TPIS.com Mini Ram also...which as it turns out is like and aftermarket version of the LT1 setup. Super Ram probably makes the highest peak HP setup out of any of them...but it also costs mucho dinero. Might want to check out www.BBKPerformance.com while you're doing your research...they have been developing a TPI intake for the past few years. Haven't checked back myself in a while, but last I heard it was going to be "competitively priced".
