Fastest 2010 Chevy Camaros - The Fastest 2010 Camaro List

A who's who of 2010 development and track domination
By Justin Cesler

Fastlane - 10.87
Currently the quickest and fastest in the country, the Fastlane 2010 Camaro proves that a well thought out single turbo combination is always hard to beat. Starting with the ZL1 Turbo kit, which includes a top-mounted Borg Warner 72mm turbocharger, Fastlane has concentrated on making a ton of power using the stock LS3, a plan that seems to be paying off. In an unusual twist, Fastlane has decided to use a manual LS3, which makes it not only the fastest overall 2010, but also the fastest 6-speed on the list.

Hennessey Performance Engineering - 10.95
The Hennessey HPE650 package will get you a set of CNC-ported cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, full exhaust and a Magnacharger TVS2300, pullied for 7-psi. With a rating of 650-hp, John Hennessey had no trouble becoming the first 2010 in the 10's, which is no small task. Moving forward, the much anticipated LS9 conversions are still in the works, and we expect to see some killer track times and dyno numbers once they start to hit the streets.

Livernois Motorsports - 11.02
In the battle for the fastest 2010, Andy Ricketts turned to Livernois Motorsports, who has chosen to go with the popular Magnacharger TVS2300 supercharger. This blower sits atop a stock L99 engine, stuffed with a non-DOD Stage 1B camshaft. Kooks long-tube headers flow into a Corsa catback, helping the 2010 expel all of it's horsepower in a hurry. Nitto 275/40/20 Drag Radials help this Camaro sixty-foot in the 1.6-second range, which is key to running such quick times. We had a chance to watch this car go rounds in Memphis, and it is quite the little sleeper.
Advanced Racing Dynamics - 11.22
Owen Priest of Advanced Racing Dynamics is no stranger to fast F-Bodies, and his new 2010 Camaro is proof. Starting with a healthy shot of nitrous, ARD was well into the 11's, but a new 460+ cubic-inch LSX bullet is already installed and ready for running some healthy numbers. Unfortunately, the last track outing proved disastrous, almost completely destroying the stock rear end. After a long thrash at the LSX Shootout, the car is back together and Owen is looking to lay down some impressive runs soon.
Redline Motorsports - 11.32
Another big player in the turnkey 2010 market is Howard Tanner of Redline Motorsports. Its most popular package is sold through local dealers, and has already gone in the low 11's, with a matching 3-year warranty. Done with a Magnacharger on 5psi, Howard reports having some traction issues due to the stiff, road race-inspired aftermarket Pedders suspension. The Redline Motorsports' shop car will be hitting the track on 10-psi in the near future, which should move them well into the 10-second zone.
Late Model Racecraft - 11.60
Late Model Racecraft offers several packages for the new 2010, including a shop car that makes over 860-rwhp, powered by a 427 cubic-inch LSX motor pressurized by a Procharger F-1R. While it hasn't ran at the track yet, LMR has made some passes in a customer's 2010, which features the Twisted Slayer package. Propelled by a Magnacharger TVS2300 blower and a custom camshaft, they have run as fast as 11.60 on the 22-inch wheels. Also no stranger to blazing fast times, look for LMR's 427cid F-1R project to be near the very top of this list in the upcoming months.
