Hey guys I posted a thread with before with the sub box I made for my thirdgen. It wasnt to hard and well worth the money that I saved on buying a prefab one. Personally I think this came out better then the ones you can buy. I wanted to share the plans I used to build this box, now its not perfect you still need to measure your well area and build a custom top to finish it all up. But these plans give you a great idea and a perfect place to start! So here it is also attatched are a few pictures of what mine looks like but you can see the whole thread in the "other camaro generations" tab.

Ok it would not allow me to attatch the file it was to big so if you want it I can and will email it to you just let me know, also here is the link to the other thread I refered too.

Ok guys I got bored with my setup in the hatch, as I assumed the Sony subs would not be good enough for me for very long. So I upgraded my subs and amp. I bought a MTX 801 D class amp and 2 12 inch Kicker CVR's. This amp and subs are much more powerful then the old stuff I was running. I ran into a few problems as these kicker subs are bigger then the sonys and would not fit correctly in my custom made box. So I built baffles to get the perfect fit. Here is what it looks like now I still have some work to do to it but you get the idea...

Hey thanks for the comments, I also love how the box came out! One of these days I'll stop changing it and enjoy it for a little while! haha but thats the fun of it always finding something to do work on and change! Oh you mean the 4 wheeler in the background, notice the plow on the front of it. We have been getting pounded with snow this year and as I type we just got hit with another 4 inches with 2-4 more coming overnight! I am getting really tired of this....:(

Ok guys, finished product! Here it is, I covered the baffles in the same jet black felt that I covered the box, mounted the subs and did a little more wiring. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

ALright guys so I was out messing with the car last night and of course had the radio going and the subs pounding! Well after about 5 minutes of a hard hitting song the Kicker subs actually blew the top of my box off! Yes you read this right blew the top of my box right off... I guess the pressure was so strong it broke the seal and lifted right off! Hopefully I can get back out there tomarrow and re seal the top with some liquid nails and some carpenter glue and then of course screw that sucker down! I'll let you know what happens and if I can get it repaired or not...
